19th Century Enameled Copper Chalice on Brass Mount
Item Details
A 19th century French enamel on copper chalice, the tulip shaped bowl skillfully painted in detail to illustrate a woman in formal attire seated in a lush landscape at sunset. The chalice is mounted on a brass stem with red enamel at the base painted with blue flowers. The illustrated chalice is signed, illegibly.
Condition
- two slight hair line cracks in the red enamel at the base
