A Louis XV style, walnut veneered bombé chest having a serpentine-shaped green marble top overhanging two stacked drawers. The drawer fronts feature decorative marquetry in satinwood and walnut veneers, cast metal foliate handles, and flanked by silver-tone mounts attached to the stiles. Both sides also feature multi-wood marquetry. The piece rises up on curved legs that extend from the stiles ending on front capped feet and joined by a shaped apron with an attached pierced metal mount. Circa 1990. There are no visible maker’s marks.
