A Louis XV style, walnut veneer bombé chest having a green marble top over two drawers. The drawer fronts feature book matched walnut veneers, floral satinwood marquetry and cast metal foliate hardware flanked by shape-conforming ormolu that continues to the feet. The piece stands on curved legs that extend from the stiles joined by a shaped apron with a pierced cast metal foliate mount to the center. There are no visible maker’s marks.
