A selection of 1940s Noritake porcelain tableware in the Mystery #171 pattern. This sixty-two piece group includes eight dinner plates, eight salad plates, eight bread and butter plates, eight soup bowls, eight dessert bowls, eight cups, eight saucers, a lidded sugar bowl, a creamer, a gravy boat with attached underplate, a round vegetable bowl, an oval vegetable bowl, and an oval serving platter. Each piece is decorated with a blue and white foliate border, multi-colored floral urns, and gilt trim. They are marked ‘Noritake Made in Japan’ to their undersides.
