Late 19th Century Tiger Oak Dresser

Item Details

A late 19th century tiger oak dresser. This piece has a rectangular top and features two aligned, bowfront drawers over a pair of graduated long drawers. The drawers have Knapp joints and are equipped with brass tone openwork mounts with bail handles. The piece is accented with subtle carved details and a serpentine apron. It rests upon cabriole legs and comes with metal casters.

Condition

- fading, scratches, nicks, cracks, and marks to wood; large scratches, burns, and water rings to top; casters are tarnished and have been removed; water damage and scuffs to drawer interiors; splitting to veneer on upper drawers; one foot is missing.
