A Royal Doulton Captain Scott character jug, circa 1998. This hand made and hand decorated porcelain character jug features the image of Captain Robert Falcon Scott wearing a cream knitted cap covering his head and neck with goggles. The handle represents the British expedition to the South Pole in 1910. This character jug was designed by David B. Biggs and is marked to the underside ’ Royal Doulton Made in England Captain Scott D7116 Modelled by David B. Biggs 1998.’
