An oil painting on canvas by Haitian artist Raoul Viard. This piece depicts a hillside path with figures walking along it while carrying large vessels on their heads. The landscape is full of lush hills and painted with impasto and expressive strokes of paint. It is signed to the lower right corner and presented in a wood frame with gouged fluting and wire to the verso for hanging.
