Vintage Royal Cauldon "Aviary" Ironstone Tableware

Item Details

An assortment of vintage Royal Cauldon Aviary ironstone tableware including twelve teacups, fifteen saucers, and sixteen luncheon plates. The pieces were designed by Henry A. Pausch and depict ten different species of songbirds sitting on flowering branches with ornate embossed patterns to the verge. The verges offer floray sprays and birds in scalloped panels in between checked designs with beaded accents throughout. The pieces were made in England in 1962-77 and are marked ‘Royal Cauldon’ to the underside.

- chip to rim of one cup; stain to underside of saucer; scratches.
