A Shanghai wood and brass jewelry box. The box has a mahogany finish and features a hinged lid with metal shapes in a vivid cobalt blue color with embossed orange flowers . Other features of the box include decorative curved brass side handles, brass corners and straps and a brass latch with embossed leaves. The box features a red velvet interior with a removable compartment and a plinth style base and the box is labeled ‘Shanghai, Made in China’ on a plaque.
