An original watercolor painting on paper Trout Fishing, England, 1816 attributed to well listed English artist George Shepherd (1784-1862). This painting depicts a lightly wooded pastoral landscape with a stream visible in the midground. Two figures are visible fishing from a small bridge that spans the stream. This painting is unsigned. It is presented in an ecru mat, beneath glass, and in a gold-tone beveled frame. The verso of this piece includes a tag identifying the artist, title, medium, and dimensions. It is equipped to hang.
