A hand-knotted Genji prayer saph rug. This wool accent rug has three prayer niches, each featuring an image of a hanging mosque lamp, grounded either in camel, rust or ochre. The niches are framed by geometric borders in coral, tan and charcoal/black with ivory highlights. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with ivory wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
