A Seth Thomas Legacy IV mantel clock. The clock is a carriage style with a cherry finished wood case that features a brass handle on a layered bonnet. The clock has a classic bracket style case with a glass front door that displays a chapter ring that is white metal with black Roman numerals surrounding a brass center with black serpentine hands and three key arbors. The clock face is accented with raised brass spandrels that feature a cherub face and wings with scrolled trim. Other features of the clock include a Westminister strike and chime movement, a hinged back door with a Welby Division jeweled mechanism and the clock stands on a plinth style base with bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Seth Thomas’ on the face and made in ‘Germany’ on the lower face.
