Vintage Sascha Brastoff Platter with Flygsfors Art Glass
Item Details
A selection of vintage serveware, featuring a ceramic platter by Sascha Brastoff (1918-1993) in the Surf Ballet design. This piece features an elongated, ovular form decorated with marbled pink and gold on a white glaze. It is marked to the base: ‘Sascha B.’ This piece dates to the mid 20th century. It is accompanied by an art glass bowl by Flygsfors in the Coquille design, created by Paul Kedelv. This vessel features an irregular, swung rim and tapered body rendered in cased cobalt. It bears an incised mark to the base, dated c. 1949-1979. A square trinket dish enameled with multicolor abstract motif on a blue and pink ground is also included. It bears no discernible maker’s marks.

- spots of oxidation and verdigris to base of trinket dish; minor marks and faint scratches.
