Judaica-Inspired Lithographs After J. Gross and Gayle

A set of two late 20th-century Judaica-themed lithographs on paper. Featured is a print after H. Gross depicting a male figure wearing a tallit and playing the shofar for a holy festival. The image is rendered in a palette of black against a cream ground and is signed in plate to the lower left. Also featured is a lithograph depicting a burning oil lamp, in a palette of black against light blue. The image is signed in plate to the lower right, appearing to read ‘Gayle’ and includes a Hebrew inscription in plate to the upper right. Both items are matted and presented under glass in wooden frames, each fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- minor toning and discoloration to paper and matting; nicks, scratches and edge wear to frames.
