A Chippendale style inlaid game table. This cherry flip top is inlaid on the top with a holly fan within a surround of walnut within a border of holly set in the center of four pieces of diamond match cherry veneer; with the reverse of the hinged flip top revealing an inlaid game board of alternating walnut and holly squares; with the flip top attached to an apron fitted with one drawer; the table resting on four Chippendale style cabriole legs carved at the knees with acanthus leaves and ending on claw and ball feet. No apparent maker’s mark.
