A pair of Royal Doulton character mugs. Featured is a vintage, circa 1949, mug in the Sam Johnson pattern showing a distinguised gentleman in a black tri-corner hat. It is marked to the underside with registry numbers and dated 1949. Also included is a John Doulton mug in the form of an aged gentleman with a clock tower as the handle. It is marked to the underside and dated 1980.
