An early 1900s ‘Mutt and Jeff’ cast iron still bank. Manufactured by ’A.C. Williams, which is not marked on the bank, the original red colors are retained. The coin slot appears on the side seam line of this collectible bank. This antique cast iron bank portrays this comic pair side-by-side and is free standing. Mutt and Jeff were a long-running and widely popular American newspaper character team created by cartoonist Bud Fisher in 1907.
