Venetian Glass and Chinese Cloisonné Trinket Dishes
Item Details
A selection of trinket dishes, including Venetian glass. Featured are two cobalt cups, accented with alternating gilt bands and fan motifs. They are finished with raised enamel flowers and finished with gilt trim. Labels to the base indicate purchase at Boncompagni, a jewelry store located in San Marco, Venice. They are accompanied by a Chinese cloisonné bowl, dish, and lidded box. Each is variously enameled with polychrome geometric or floral motifs, finished with azure accents. A lobed trinket dish with enamel floral motif is also included. These pieces bear no discernible maker’s marks.
