Chinese Pumpkin Shaped Ceramic Jar
Item Details
A Chinese pumpkin shaped ceramic jar. The jar features colorful Daoist figures on each of the eight cream tone globular panels. The lid has a stem shaped handle and is divided into eight sections decorated with symbols in black.
The underside bears an apocryphal Guangxu reign mark, however, it was likely produced during the late Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
Condition
- crazing and staining throughout, some finish loss.
