An oil painting on canvas titled White Mums in Greenhouse by artist Kathryn Tauber (American, 20th-century), dated 1967. The work depicts a still life with white mums in a blue vase. Signed, titled, and dated by the artist to the verso. The item is presented in a silver tone wood frame.
Tauber is a regional American artist known for her still lifes and portraits. She studied under painter Fernando Ascarza (20th-century), a supposed friend of well-known Cubist Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881 – 1973). Describing herself as a hobbyist, the artist has never before presented her works to the market. EBTH is proud to offer Ms. Tauber’s works for the first time.
