Kathryn Tauber Oil Painting

Item Details

An oil painting on canvas board of a still life by artist Kathryn Tauber (American, 20th-century). The work depicts a vase with daffodils and a blue cloth using thickly applied pigment. To the bottom right, the work is signed. The painting is presented in a decorative gilded gold-toned wooden frame without glass.

Tauber is a regional American artist known for her still lifes and portraits. She studied under painter Fernando Ascarza (20th-century), a supposed friend of well-known Cubist Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881 – 1973). Describing herself as a hobbyist, the artist has never before presented her works to the market. EBTH is proud to offer Ms. Tauber’s works for the first time.
