Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Borchalu area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of cherry, sky blue, midnight blue, cream, charcoal gray, and olive green. It has a scalloped oval shaped medallion surrounded by a border of bell-shaped blooms and bouquets of flowers. The corner brackets featuring curling intricate vines in light blues and grays. It is framed with borders of linked flowers and a herati pattern. Finished with overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe. Marked to verso ‘Made in Iran’.
