Model H.M.S Bounty Ship in Wood Display Box

A model H.M.S. Bounty ship in a wood display box. This wood mode is comprised of wood and depicts the H.M.S. Bounty which was originally called the H.M.S. Bethia as a private merchant ship but it was acquired by the Royal Navy and renamed in 1787. The ship is best known for an incident called the Mutiny on the Bounty due to a mutiny led by Acting Lieutenant Fletcher Christian. The ship rests on a wood stand with a bronze tone name plaque which reads ‘HMS Bounty 1783’ and is encapsulated by a glass paneled display case with a dark toned wood frame which rests on carved bracket feet.
