A Luba style figural sculpture. This sculpture depicts a figure with an elongated torso and stout legs presenting his open palms outward. The sculpture includes hallmark features of the aforementioned group, including a conical headdress etched with cross-hatched patterning, eyes that are shaped like coffee beans and a patterned chest piece. The figure includes moulded boots that are affixed to an oblong base with supportive felt pads to the underside.

Condition

- crack at the wrist of his right hand; split to left side of face; debris to surface; wear to underside.
