A large Chinese intricately carved serpentine stone censer. The monumental incense burner features dragon and phoenix motifs, representing the complementary forces of yang and yin, respectively. The piece is further embellished with foliate motifs and hanging rings. Complete with a lid and a base. Unmarked.
