Vintage Bavarian Johann Haviland "Blue Garland" Porcelain Tea Service

A vintage Bavarian porcelain tea service by Johann Haviland in the Blue Garland pattern. Each of the thirty seven pieces are printed with delicate blue floral swags on a white body, finished with silver gilt trim. Included is a teapot, lidded sugar bowl, and creamer. Each is composed with a lightly molded body, kicked double scroll handle, and scalloped base. Twelve saucers and twelve dessert bowls with a scalloped edge are also included, along with ten footed teacups. The pieces bear a green backstamp to the base indicating production c. 1953 – 1990.
