A limited edition wooden sculpture titled Amor by listed Massachusetts artist Markus Pierson (b. 1961). This painted piece depicts one of Pierson’s signature anthropomorphized coyotes holding the outstretched hand of a dog-like figure in a floral gown. The figures are presented on a base with a faux marble finish, the work ‘AMOR’ incised to its front edge, the artist’s signature to the verso along with an edition number of 205/350 and a date of 1990.

Condition

- some wear to edges; light crack to one of dog’s wrists; dust and accretions throughout.
