Item Details
A pairing of English ironstone and French porcelain covered casserole dishes. Featured is an oblong ironstone casserole with ribbed scalloped trim, foliate handles and a curvilinear pedestal base by Johnson Bros. of England. The underside is marked in green ‘Johnson Bros. England Pat. 1900’. Also included is a rectangular casserole with scalloped corners and foliate handles by Charles Field Haviland/Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel of France. The underside is marked ‘CFH/GDM France’ used circa 1891.
