R. Brinton Crocker Mixed Media Painting "Gemini"
Item Details
An oil and enamel painting on canvas by Indiana artist R. Brinton Crocker. This piece presents a pair of nude figures jumping rope against an abstract ground. The work is presented unsigned in a wood frame, with a label to the verso that titles the painting as Gemini and names Crocker as the artist. Crocker was a faculty member of Purdue University’s Art and Design department.
Condition
- craquelure to surface of painting, particularly toward upper edge of piece; minor wear to frame.
