An oil painting on canvas titled Centurons Pax Roma by an artist appearing to sign the piece ‘Rawson.’ This piece depicts a Caesar-like man in Roman armor, a second man looming close behind him. The background of the work depicts an abstracted arrangement of architecture, the title of the piece and the artist’s name, dated what appears to read ‘74,’ written along its upper edge. The painting is presented in a slim wooden frame and does not include hanging hardware.

- notable areas of inpainting to the sky and older man’s face; discoloration throughout painting and verso; repairs made to frame but it is still somewhat loose; dirt, notable wear and chipping to frame.
