Fowler Gingerbread Mantel Clock
Item Details
A Fowler gingerbread mantel clock. The clock has an oak wood case with other hardwoods and veneers and features a fretwork bonnet with scrollwork and decorative designs and a wood crest with pierced geometric shapes. The clock has fretwork side panels and features a glass front door with gilded images of knights in armor and horses. Other features of the clock include a brass bezel surrounding a white metal face with black Roman numerals and pierced hands on a brass ringed center displaying brass gears. The clock also features an embossed brass pendulum, chimes on the hour and a plinth style wood base with decorative trim. The clock is labeled ‘Fowler Mnfg.Co.’ on the verso.
