A pair of Chippendale style armchairs with toile upholstery. Each of the identical chairs features a rectangular back with narrow, rectangular wings over rolled arms flanking a removable seat cushion, all upholstered in a bluea and white toile fabric with Chinoiserie motifs. The chair rises on wood Chippendale style marlborough legs joined by an H stretcher. There are no visible maker’s marks.
