A collection of Chinese seals and Burmese bronze “opium” weights. This collection includes a Chinese lion seal, stamped “China” on the side and featuring a single character on the underside. Of note are three so-called Burmese “opium” weights, though they were used as weights for other goods as well. The weights are in the shape of the mythical duck-like bird called a hintha.
