Carved French Armoire

Item Details

A French armoire in mahogany and fruitwood, having fine berry, flower and vine carving. The double-bonnet top has a molded cornice with sawtooth carving and corresponding frieze, above two arched doors with scalloped and carved framing, around two book-matched panels and brass escutcheons. The case has a carved apron, between cabriole legs. The sides have multiple raised panels. The interior features three wooden shelves and a paneled back.
