Women's Circa 1940s Vintage Dresses
Item Details
A pair of women’s circa 1940s vintage dresses. The selection includes a black dress with a Peter Pan collar, a horizontally pleated bodice with a metal zipper along one side, short sleeves with turned cuffs, an A-line skirt with pleats to the front and a short center back collar zipper. A blue dress by Kay Ashton featuring a collared neckline, a gathered shoulder yoke, short sleeves, decorative buttons down the front of the bodice and a metal side seam zipper is also included.
Condition
- black dress has puckered threads, hole in seam near back zipper, snags, fading on shoulders, does not include belt; blue dress has snags and discoloration to armhole areas; dry cleaner tag on sleeve, does not include belt
