Royal Haeger and Peters and Reed Glazed Pottery Vases
Item Details
A pair of early Peter and Reed and Royal Haeger art pottery vases. The Peter and Reed vase is in a chocolate brown glaze with raised green and yellow flowers to the side. The Peters and Reed pottery faclity operated in Zanesville, Ohio from 1897-1957 using local red clay for their art pottery. A seller’s sticker is attached to the base of the vase that reads ‘Peters & Reed 1905.’ This grouping also includes a mid-century modern cranberry red glazed vase with a slender neck and rounded lower body resting on a round carved wooden display base. The vase is stamped ’Royal Haeger, USA and with an illegible number stamped to the base.
