A hand-tufted and carved wool Aubusson-style area rug. It features a central floral medallion in pink, blue, yellow, and green on a cream field, and is surrounded by tan and pink scroll work and additional floral bouquets on a slate blue field. The border is also decorated with floral bouquets, laurels, and ribbons in matching colors on an cream ground. The rug features a scalloped shape to the edges and retains an original tag to the back that reads ‘A Royal Palace Handmade Rug, 100% Wool Pile, Made in China.’
