An oil painting on canvas titled Le Pont De Salferine Paris by an unknown artist. This piece depicts the bridge at le Pont de Solférino, a bridge across the River Seine in Paris, France prior to the reconstruction in the 1990’s. In this scene, the sky is clear and wide overhead as figures and horse-drawn carriages travel the bridge and barges travel the river beneath. It is unsigned and titled on a gold tone placard to the lower center. The work is presented in a gold tone frame with corner cartouche molding and a painted black cove. There is wire to the verso for hanging.
