A Balinese wooden carving of Buddha. This wall hanging sculpture depicts the aforementioned religious figure presented in portraiture, featuring carved features in a low relief including a bindi, conical headdress and gauged ears. To the verso is affixed hanging wire and a typed tag indicating it was carved in the Ubud region of Bali.

Condition

- slight wear to surface; discoloration to tags on verso; accretion to verso.
