Item Details
A power-loomed Sakkara area rug by Oriental Weavers of America. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, taupe, ivory, camel, and black. The cranberry colored field features a latticed pattern of palmettes and floral motifs, forming a herati pattern. Framing the field is a main border of meandering leaves with added blooms and palmettes, along with guard borders of floral meander patterns. Finishing this rug are serged edges and an applied fringe, as well as a label to the underside.
