Antique Cloisonné Teapot
Item Details
An antique brass and enamel cloisonné teapot, circa 1890. The lidded teapot features a reeded brass finial and an overall floral and scroll design atop a black ground. The top of the body features mons around the neck, some filled with crushed iridescent particles covered by clear enamel for a three-dimensional effect. The base of the teapot is also finished and features a single white and blue flower, raised on three brass feet. A round black lacquer display stand is included.
