Chinese Porcelain Vases

Item Details

A pair of Chinese porcelain vases, circa early 1900s. Each vase is decorated with a mirror image of two women seating while reading tablets. The top rim of the vase is decorated in an embellished ruyi design. The reverse side of the vases feature the same calligraphic poem. The bases are stamped with a red Qianlong reign mark, however, they were produced during the Republic period (1912-1949).

Condition

- some slight discoloration to bottom, consistent with age and use.
