A vintage Appalachian dulcimer with a case, manufactured by the Rugg & Jackel Music Company. This hourglass-shaped dulcimer features a four-string arrangement with a double melody, as well as four heart-shaped soundholes; it is constructed of walnut with a spruce top. It is labeled ‘Rugg & Jackel Music Company, FolkRoots Dulcimers, Made in the United States of America, D-550S 186’ to the interior. A hardshell case is included.

- minor wear to dulcimer, case shows signs of residue and wear; untested.
