A Louis XVI balloon back chair by Isenhour Furniture. This chair features a curved, carved crest rail with wreath cartouche over an upholstered, balloon back panel with brass nailhead trim. The chair features padded, straight armrests with acanthus leaf handholds and reeded arm supports flanking a cushion seat. The chair rises on tapering, fluted legs topped with rosette stamped blocks and joined by a front stretcher with C-scroll embellishments. The underside is marked ‘Isenhour Furniture’ to a tag.
