A pair of plaster Chinese guardian lion sculptures. These apotropaic statuettes depict traditionally styled guardian lions who are rendered with intricate detailing. They are depicted with their right front paw on a sphere or embroidered ball as they sit stoically in an upright position atop a pedestal base. These pieces appear to be unmarked and unsigned.

Condition

- some scuffing, chipping, and other wear to their surfaces; paint is significantly faded.
