An oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. This piece depicts a young woman with her hair piled in a bun atop her head and waving a fan at the back of her neck. She is seated and painted with a soft light and visible brushwork. The piece is unsigned and presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with ornate floral cartouche molding and string to the verso for hanging.
