A wooden P-38 airplane model. This model of a P-38 Lightening made by the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation and used by the United States Army Air Forces in World War II includes two extra fuel tanks attached under the wings. The model features a high gloss finish and is presented on a wooden stand. There are no visible makers marks.

- one of the wings has been repaired; can be removed from base.
