A 1968 oil painting on canvas of a floral still life by an artist signing the work ‘Boekema’. This painting is rendered in a palette of pink, red, green, white, and orange hues and features sweeping and well-blended brushwork. Depicted is a white canister filled with blooming flowers and greenery with stray blossoms and leaves scattered on the ground near the arrangement. It is signed and dated by hand in paint to the lower right corner. The work is presented in a white wooden frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
