A pairing of Limoges Castel cobalt porcelain trinket boxes in round and treasure box shapes. They feature different 18th century courting scenes decorated in 22K gold with foliate accents throughout. The treasure box is from the Marquise collection, marked ‘Limoges France, Made in France’ underneath and the round box is marked ‘Limoges Castel France 22K Gold’ underneath.

Condition

- minor surface wear and markings; the metal frame on the round box shows tarnish and scratches.
