Vintage Converted Manhattan Student Brass Lamp

A vintage converted oil lamp. This electric Manhattan student lamp is made of brass and glass. It features a lidded brass oil reservoir on one side of a long thin stem with decorative scrollwork. On the other side of the stem is a brass chimney over a bell-shaped white milk glass shade and a clear glass chimney over the secondary reservoir. The lamp rests on a simple round pedestal. Markings include a patent number but no maker’s information.

- the lamp is untested; minor scuffs and some tarnish.
